Online Chocolate Project!
Brought to you by 4th Grade Students
at Lincoln Elementary
Salt Lake City, Utah
Introduction:
Have you ever wondered were chocolate comes from? No, not just from the store. After reading, "The Chocolate Touch," by Patrick Skene Catling, our 4th grade class began exploring where chocolate comes from, and how it is made. As we were researching, students began asking each other, "what is your favorite chocolate?" This question led them to develop a taste test to find out what their favorite chocolate was. Come and discover with us how chocolate makes it from the bean to the bar.
Task:
Using semi-sweet, milk, and dark chocolate (bars or chips) complete your class taste test. How many students preferred semi-sweet, milk, and dark chocolate? This project begins March 19, 2005 and ends April 19, 2005.
Post your classroom results to our chocolate survey.
