Needs Assessment Update :
Thank you for your input on the Development Committee's school needs assessment. We received over 100 responses to our survey, and the input was excellent. Overall, most respondents were very happy with their experience at Uintah. We received many comments like this one from a parent: "Overall, our experience at Uintah has been superb."
The Development Committee's goal is to create a sustainable plan to build on Uintah's strength and successes. Based on your feedback, we have identified the top opportunities for improvement in our school: math, writing, reading, foreign language, PE, and science. For more details, please see the Needs Assessment report.
Our next step is to work with faculty to identify the directions we should pursue in these areas. We plan to conduct in-depth focus groups with our teachers and District experts. Watch for more details to come, as we find creative opportunities to enrich our school and our kids!

Looking for Another Way to Help Uintah?

Consider a tax-deductible donation to Uintah's Development Fund. Just make out a check to Salt Lake Education Foundation, and designate Uintah's Development Campaign in the memo line. You can drop the check off in the office, and we'll get it to the Foundation. You get not only documentation of your donation, but a great feeling of helping enrich our kids experiences at school!
The Salt Lake Education Foundation accepts donations earmarked for specific schools and programs, so you can give money to Uintah or make a donation to a specific program at Uintah, like Hands On Science or the Development Campaign. Donations can be given in the form of cash, check, money order, property, bequests, memorial contributions or in-kind contributions. 100% of your donation goes to Uintah when you designate our school with your contribution.
