Meadowlark Elementary
Our mission at Meadowlark is that all students will have a successful school experience, therefore our staff will:
- meet with all parents/guardians to establish individual goals and expectations (SEP conferences) for every child;
- provide to patrons regular progress report cards and two parent/teacher conferences a year to promote collaboration between home and school;
- provide “Family Involvement” for families requesting additional services;
- provide challenging academic programs for advanced student.
Our “Home-School Team,” is made of up of our students, teachers, patrons and community. The school has an agreement with our students and patrons known as Meadowlark’s School Joint Compact. As part of this compact, we ask the following commitment(s) from the home:
As a parent/guardian, I want my child/children to have a successful school experience, therefore I will:
- encourage constant school attendance as well as arriving at school on time;
- participate in the SEP conferences held during the school year and contribute various goals and expectations that I believe are in the best interest of my child/children and support Meadowlark’s “Academic Standards” and encourage reading at home;
- be an active participant in my child/children’s education.
