Non-teaching positions and those that do not require professional licensure are often referred to as “Classified” positions in school districts. This position category includes a broad range of jobs including Custodian, Secretary, Accountant, Paraprofessional, Child Nutrition Worker, Group Leader, Bus Driver, etc.
